Professional Background I graduated with Honours from McGill University in 1978 and thereafter received a Juris Doctorate degree cum laude from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. I am admitted as an Attorney-at-Law in the State of California (1982) and as a Barrister, Solicitor and Notary Public in the Province of Ontario (1985). I have since practiced almost exclusively in the field of insurance litigation, with an emphasis on personal injury, disability and criminal injuries compensation. I am a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and I currently Chair of the Editorial Board of the Journal of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. I have written for legal and related publications, and have appeared as a law conference guest speaker on litigation subjects and as a radio show guest on CFRB’s Law Talk.
